DESCRIPTION
In a field inundated with generic logos consisting of paddles and human figures paddling, Keel & Chine wanted to stand out. By focusing on the geometry of the kayak itself, and by choosing a unique perspective, the logo becomes bolder and more memorable. Keel & Chine's owner and instructor has a passion for wooden kayaks in particular, so a wood grain pattern was utilized. The business card design is simple and straightforward, but reflects the owner's playfulness and sense of humor.
